A little bit about me
I consider myself a true ”Cajun girl” born and raised in New Iberia, Louisiana. I am a busy wife, mother of two and CFO for our construction company CLM. Cooking and food has been a passion of mine. I have always loved good food since I was a little girl but didn’t learn how to cook until I was in college.
I never really had to worry about cooking when I was growing up because my mom and grandmothers were amazing cooks hence where I got my love for good food. So, when I went to LSU for college and moved an hour away from home I had no choice but to learn how to cook. I have to credit Rachel Ray for my cooking skills, I watched her 30 minute meals show religiously until I learned the basics. Then I started to put my own twist on my favorite foods.
I try to cook meals that are quick, easy and kid friendly. My favorite thing is using bold spices to add lots of flavor to my dishes.
